Bill Nolan
Lobbyist
A fixture in Tennessee politics for more than 40 years, Bill Nolan has made a name for himself for quietly accomplishing “impossible” legislative initiatives. Elected as one of the youngest state representatives in Tennessee history in the 1970’s, he took on tough issues; especially those related to banking interest rates, transportation, women’s rights and the environment. As a lobbyist for long-time and diverse clients, Mr. Nolan focuses on working with policymakers on both sides of the aisle and creatively solving problems in a way that benefits the client and citizens of Tennessee. Some of these clients include the American Institute of Architects, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, City of Oak Ridge, Pilot Travel Centers, Pathway Lending and the Tennessee Association of Professional Bail Agents.
In addition to considerable legislative experience, Mr. Nolan has also served as a Trustee for the University of Tennessee and as Chairman of the Norris Regional Planning Commission.
